The roots of Black and Gold of Jax Beaches trace back to 2019, when a group of random strangers — all proudly sporting Black and Gold for the love of the Steelers— first crossed paths at a local Jacksonville Beach spot then known as Whiskey Jax (currently 1810 Tacos y Tequila).

Brought together under the Steelers fan club, the First Coast Black and Gold, we quickly realized that our shared passion for the Pittsburgh Steelers was more than just a common interest — it was the beginning of something special.

The First Coast Black and Gold was a welcoming club filled with Steelers fans who shared a deep passion for football and made everyone feel like family. Though some of those wonderful people have come and gone, they will always be remembered.

Now, for the founders of the Black and Gold of Jax Beaches club, what started as casual conversations over the thrills of victory and the agonies of defeat soon grew into genuine friendships for the year 2019. Little did we realize this became the foundation for what would become our own dedicated fan family at Jacksonville Beach, Florida evolved from small seeds to strong roots for the years to come.
